The stage max is intended for the rider looking for an all-round mid-travel 29” trailbike, with the intention of taking part in single or multi-day racing events, without limiting the more playful side of mountain biking.
With increased rear travel and slightly more relaxed geometry, the MAX is perfect for riders who participate in marathon events but spend the bulk of their time riding their local trails. The MAX frame has 130mm rear travel – matched up to a 140 mm fork, you have a playful and versatile bike at your disposal.
Our slack and long geometry allows for a shorter stem and wider bars to be fitted, maximizing stability and technical handling while boosting rider confidence. This new twist on marathon geometry gives the bike maximum stability at speed, during cornering and on steep technical descents, yet climbs among the best in its class, thanks to the finely balanced leverage ratio and anti-squat characteristics.
Frame fitted with Rockshox Monarch RT3 shock. The Plus FIVE chain line is also featured on the MAX frame for improved wheel strength and shifting performance.
