Custom shock absorbers tuned specifically for gravel surfaces work in combination with the X-Bow system. Extended padding and a wider nose shared with the SLR Endurance adapt the same comfort upgrades for gravel use. The Protective Insert comes fitted on the saddle, covering the Superflow cutout to keep bib shorts dry in wet conditions. It applies no pressure to the perineal area and can be removed at any time to restore the open cutout and maximise ventilation.
