- Possible to open vehicle trunk without any mounted bikes: We provide locks system that reduce the risk of theft but will not constitute a total guarantee against risk of bikes being stolen. For added bike safety we recommend to use Thule Cable lock, Thule Wheel Strap Locks (see accessories section) or any premium high-grade cable lock
