POC VENTRAL AIR MIPS
With precise ventilation ports and internal channels to control air intake and release at both low and high speeds, the Ventral Air Mips ensures a supreme cooling effect over the whole head.
Shaped to deliver coolness like never before, the Ventral Air Mips is the natural choice for hotter days or long days with lots of climbing.
The helmet's numerous ventilation ports are each precisely placed to optimise airflow through deep internal channels, providing optimum control of air intake and release at both low and high speeds and delivering a supreme cooling effect over the whole head.
The Ventral Air Mips is shaped to enhance a rider's aerodynamic profile and minimise drag: the helmet features a distinct 22° trailing edge to reduce turbulence and provide a more aerodynamic silhouette.
The exceptionally lightweight road cycling helmet has been developed according to the principles POC's Whole Helmet Concept™, where all aspects of the helmet are considered together to ensure the helmet works from a user perspective.
A fully wrapped unibody shell provides structural stability, and the EPS liner is optimised to provide crash protection without a weight penalty. Rotational impact protection is enhanced thanks to the Mips Air Node system.
Practical features include a lightweight size adjustment system that guarantees a personalized fit, and an eye garage for easy and secure storage of eyewear mid-ride.
PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
- Internal Airflow Channels: Uniquely designed internal airflow channels provide ventilation at high and low speeds without impacting aerodynamic performance.
- 22° Trailing Edge: Residual air travelling around the helmet is controlled by a 22° aero trailing edge: the perfect angle for minimizing turbulence.
- Unibody PC Shell: The fully wrapped unibody PC shell improves the structural stability and enhances helmet integrity.
- Eye garage: High-friction pads at the front of the helmet make it easy to store sunglasses while riding.
- EPS liner: The EPS liner is optimized to provide crash protection at a low weight.
- Adjustable 360° Fit: A lightweight 360° adjustment system makes it easy to find a secure, comfortable fit.
- Mips Air Node: The Mips Air Node, a low-friction layer laminated to the base of the comfort padding, works to improve rotational impact protection.
